Stay with locals - Shared Apartment Homestay

Wir waren zum Marathon dort, und unser Quartier war für unseren Kurzaufenthalt optimal, da alles fußläufig zu erreichen war. Wir haben in der Wohnung des Vermieters gewohnt, der sich sehr freundlich um uns gekümmert hat, viele Tipps gegeben hat und für uns da war. Er hat sogar Deutsch gesprochen, weshalb die Kommunikation sehr entspannt war.

Es wäre schön, wenn die Zimmer abschließbar wären, da gleichzeitig mit uns auch noch andere Gäste im Appartment gewohnt haben.

Osmo, the host, is a very interesting and helpful person, he gave us some really nice advices on Helsinki, Karelia and Lapland. Beside that the house is really clean and cozy, with a Hood position near the city center.

The apartment has a 180 degree habour view, with huge and well-equipped kitchen. Walking distance to Old Town, many sightseeing and supermarkets. The apartment is very clean too. Good recommendations from Osmo (the host) for places to visit, as he is always ready to help. In particular, I enjoyed chatting with him and learned a lot about Helsinki and Finland. It is an eye-opening trip for me. Thanks Osmo! 😄

Would have liked some instructions about how to use equipment eg drip coffee pot, dishwasher and washing machine.
