Apartmán Goldberg

Zaujimavy interier, priestranny a funkcny. Topka je funkcny krb, co nam vytvorilo velmi utuĺny pocit.

The apartment is spacious and decorated in style. Perfect location close to old town and restaurants. Free parking in the courtyard was mostly taken during our stay, but the paid parking was only 2 minutes walk away at 10 euros per day.

The pillows on the bed were very high, I think I had a longer neck the next morning :-) We couldn't find a bottle opener for wine

The apartment is very nice and spacious. The owners describe it as luxurious—which can mean different things to different people—but it is certainly furnished above average, with no expense spared on equipment or materials. Communication was smooth, we received the keys without any issues, the beds were comfortable, and everything was clean and beautifully arranged. Although the price is not low, the apartment slightly exceeded our expectations. (Just a small example: in 90% of the apartments we've stayed in, there's the cheapest capsule Nespresso coffee machine; here, there's a Francis Francis by Illy, which is in a completely different league. The same goes for the rest of the equipment in the apartment.) There is a functioning fireplace in the room, with plenty of wood provided. We didn't use it this time, but if we return, we definitely will. :) The apartment is quiet, yet located directly on the main street leading to the most popular town center. Would we come back? Definitely. We recommend it—just not too much, so it's still available when we want to return. Apartman nemal hodnotenie tak to bola trocha loteria, ale vyhrali sme! :) Apartman je velmi pekny a priestranny, majitelia ho oznacuju za luxusny, co moze znamenat pre kazdeho nieco ine, ale rozhodne je zariadeny nadpriemerne a na vybaveni ani materialoch sa nesetrilo. Komunikacia dobra, kluce sme prebrali bez problemov, postele pohodlne, vsetko ciste a velmi pekne. Napriek tomu ze cena nie je nizka, trocha to predcilo nase ocakavanie. (len maly priklad: v 90% apartmanov kde sme byvali je najlacnejsi kapsulovy Nespresso kavovar, tu je Francis Francis od Illy, co je uplne ina liga. Tak je to aj s ostanym vybavenim v apartmane) V izbe je funkcny krb, s dostatkom dreva, my sme ho sice nevyuzili ale ak sa vratime urcite vyuzijeme:). Apartman je tichy, rovno na hlavnej ulici veducej do najoblubenejsieho centra. Ci by sme sa vratili? Urcite. Odporucame.

Parking! That was a bit of a challenge. I even considered giving a lower rating because of it, but the owner mentioned they are aware of the issue and are planning to address it, so I still gave a 10. The problem is that parking is generally difficult throughout Banská Štiavnica. In the town center, there’s practically none available, and even slightly further out—near the apartment—you can only park in public spots that cost €2 per hour. There is a small courtyard by the entrance to the apartment where you can park if there's space. One night we had a spot, the next we didn’t. It wasn’t a big deal—we managed. There’s also a large paid parking lot nearby, where I believe overnight parking is free. Still, apart from being an additional expense, the bigger issue is the uncertainty: you never know if or where you'll find parking, especially when returning after a full day of exploring. That said, as I mentioned, we still gave the highest rating—we made it through just fine. Parkovanie! To bol trocha oriesok, kvoli tomu som aj zvazoval dat menej ako maximalne hodnotenie, ale majitelka mi hovorila ze su si toho vedomi a planuju to nejako riesit, tak som dal 10. Problem je v tom ze v celej stiavnici je problem s parkovanim, v centre vobec a kusok dalej, teda aj pri apartmante, sa dalo parkovat an mestskych miestach ale za 2Eura na hodinu. Vo dvore kde sa nachadza vstup do apartmanu je maly dvorcek s tym ze ak je tam miesto tak tam mozete parkovat. My sme raz mali a raz nemali. Nezabilo nas to, nablizku je aj velke platene parkovisko kde sa myslim noc neplati, ale okrem toho ze to je dalsi financny naklad, horsie je ze neviete ci zaparkujete a kde, ked sa napriklad vraciate z celodenneho vyletu. Ale ako som uz pisal, dali sme maximum, toto sme prezili :) Mozno je dobre vediet ze k dveram bytu sa ide po 36 schodoch, teda tri poschodia peso. My sme funkcni, deti vladzu takze ok, ale mozno to nie je pre kazdeho.
