Immersive Homestay Ninh Binh

The house is lovely, we had all the comfort we needed. We really enjoyed the tofu class and tasting the tofu afterwards - it was fascinating to see the process, and probably the best tofu and soy milk we’ve ever had! The food was varied and all very tasty and fresh, using a lot of ingredients from their garden. Although they don’t speak English very well, the hosts were very warm and kind. When we were there they also had three adorable puppies that we played with a lot! Overall it’s a very authentic domestic vibe, away from the crowds.

What we didn’t like is that the hosts weren’t upfront at all about the price of services like dinners, bike rental and lifts to the city. They offered to drive us to Trang An and Mua Cave and they made it sound like they were doing it as a favour, but only when we were putting our helmets on and ready to leave did they tell us it would cost 500.000VND per person, which is a lot more than we expected. We felt like we had to accept at that point, but had we known, we would have planned alternatively. Obviously the downside of a peaceful location is that it’s very difficult to get around without renting bikes or hiring a taxi, so I’d say driving yourselves is probably the best solution. Overall I would still recommend coming here, but make sure you ask for prices upfront when they offer you any kind of service that is not explicitly included in the booking.

お二人はとても親切にしてくださいました。 奥さんは元シェフで、提供してもらったご飯はとても美味しかったです！ 夕飯はお二人と一緒に食べるのですが、自家製のお酒を出してくれ、もっと食べるようにすすめてくれました。 ベッドは広くバルコニーもあり、お部屋は快適でした。 タムコックやチャンアンと違い、現地の人が住む村の中にあります。 私は素朴な村の雰囲気がとても好きでした。 村の中を散歩してみてください。英語を話す人もいて、ちょっとした会話が楽しめます。 ここでの滞在でかかる費用は次の通りです。 　ご飯1食　　120000ドン 　自転車1日レンタル　60000ドン 　豆腐作り体験　　360000ドンくらい 　Van Longへのバイク（往復）　150000ドン 犬が2匹いて、かわいかったです。

同じ日に他に泊まる人がいる場合、風呂トイレは共有になると思います。 上記費用が少し、観光地価格かもしれません。 でも、泊まって良かったと思います。ここへの宿泊をおすすめします！

The homestay family were lovely! They greeted us warmly at the door and offered us tea and drinks. They showed us around their property and their animals and luckily we showed up just after some new puppies were born! We had dinner with the family and they offered to let us hire them for the following day to take us to some nearby sites they recommend on their motorbikes. There were 3 of us and 2 of them but they managed to arrange an extra driver. We had a fabulous day at trang an and bai dinh pagoda that we wouldn’t have otherwise had. Couldn’t recommend this homestay enough! The hosts were so lovely and helpful and it was a great escape from our otherwise chaotic trip :)

They rent bikes for 150vd wich is super cheap, they help with everything, they teach us how to make tofu then cook the tofu for us in many different ways, family dinner, laundry, super super friendly and helpful! They have 2dogs super cute as well
