The location, the view from the balcony, the spacious and nice living room. The property is build with taste. It was very quiet.

The kitchen was dirty, especially the fridge and the oven. A bit old fashioned kitchen appliencies but if you don't need a kitchen, it is a great property. The welcome communication gives you the feeling as if they believe you come to demolish the property. We did not feel welcome at all.

The property itself is beautiful, spacious and has a very nice private pool. Unfortunately, our overall experience was significantly affected by serious cleanliness and pest-control issues and by the way these were handled during our stay.

Unfortunately, our experience did not meet the standard we expected, particularly considering the price we paid. During our stay, we encountered a significant ant problem. This was not limited to the garden or pool area: ants were also present inside the accommodation, including the kitchen and directly on the kitchen counter/food-preparation surfaces. We have extensive photographic and video evidence. We reported the issue to the property shortly after midnight at the beginning of 10 August, with our check-out scheduled for 11 August, and provided video evidence when requested. Despite having almost the entire day before our departure to address the problem, no effective solution was provided during our stay. We were ultimately informed that pest-control treatment and cleaning would take place on our check-out date, meaning the solution would benefit the next guests rather than resolve the conditions we experienced. We were also disappointed by the initial suggestion that the ants could have been attracted by food left exposed, despite there being no evidence that we caused the problem. In addition, we found an expired bottle of olive oil in the kitchen cupboard. The property subsequently explained that it had apparently been left by a previous guest and had not been removed during cleaning. This naturally raised questions for us about how thoroughly the accommodation had been checked before our arrival. The owner later contacted us personally and was polite, which we appreciated. However, despite acknowledging our feedback, no refund, compensation or meaningful remedy for our affected stay was offered. For a three-night stay costing approximately €864, we found this extremely disappointing. The property has considerable potential, but cleanliness, pest control and the response to problems during an active stay need significant improvement.
