Cozy Retreat in Point Vernon

Fantastic, large fenced backyard backing onto a nature strip. Close to dog beaches in Point Vernon. Aircon in lounge, 3 bedrooms. Kangaroos hopping past the house, full-sized fridge. Good sized bedrooms, 2 undercover carports, security screens on doors.

No dishwasher meant that dishes in the cupboard weren't very clean. Only one dish towel and one roll of toilet paper for the whole weekend for 4 people. No extractor fan in the toilet or in the shower bathroom. No bins in the bathroom or toilet. The only bin is in the kitchen and is a 5 litre bin.

Very quiet location, spacious, bright rooms with good blinds, everthing we used was working well, comfy beds, good bedlinen. Good price Fenced big backyard Washer/dryer available (we haven't used it ) There was nescafe and tea bags and some leftovers but no eg pepper/salt/sugar

It needs a deep clean. It's ok but some things and corners weren't cleaned in a while. The back double bedroom has a bit of a musty smell. Outdoors area is pretty bland. The provided bathroom articles might have been leftovers from previous guests, not sure but eg shampoo was peach smelling for curly, frizzy hair?? The vanity drawers have a couple of make-up articles in plastic bags in them, probably also leftovers. Pantry had a bowl of open crackers in it. Wasn't keen finding these things. Lighting in kitchen/living room is either full bright ceiling lights or barely useful table lamp Only bathroom size garbage can in kitchen

Very quiet, loved out the back listening and watching the birds, we loved the high fence around the back yard.

Not enough power points in the bedrooms.

Good quite location.

Place was not ready when we arrived for check-in. Poor management. After such a long drive, kids and Mrs were looking forward to having a rest and relax, instead was forced to wait around for over an hour while owner organised cleaning and have to the place ready.
