We initially booked this accommodation while attending a league tournament in Hervey Bay. As we have four children, the room configuration worked well on paper, with a separate room for our two girls and a sofa bed in the lounge for our son. Unfortunately, when we went to set up the sofa bed, we discovered there was no mattress provided. As a result, our son had to sleep on the couch itself, which was quite uncomfortable and sagging also had a pair of underwear and rubbish under the couch. So the next day staff organised a single mattress to go on the floor We also noticed that many of the permanent residents were elderly and permanent residents . Throughout our stay, we felt the need to constantly ensure our children were very quiet, as several residents would come outside and glare at us. This made us feel as though we were being closely watched rather than able to relax and enjoy our stay as a family.
