Domaine Puy Saint Jammes

The accommodation is within a working farm yet close to main roads for very easy access. I stayed in the two bedroom house which has a large, covered terrace with an incredible view. The house is well equipped, clean and comfortable. The mattress on the double bed was firm which I prefer. There is an air con unit but I didn't need to use it despite the heat as the property is built from stone. A free standing fan was available in the bedroom together with a smaller air con unit in case of need. The best part for me, as I love animals, was to meet the two dogs and two cats, two donkeys (behind a fence) and chickens. The cats and dogs are very well behaved and did not try to enter the property. There was no noise at night. It was very calm. I felt rested. I received a very warm welcome from the owner who supplied me with the keys and walked me around the property. They also provided me with some delicious honey made at the farm. I would definitely stay here again.
