The lift was broken the whole week - it didnt look like anyone was around to service it, Only dissappointing thing about the trip as we were on top floor and needed to get to basement everday and we had my older mother with us.

Very convenient location. Close to the train station but not too close to be too noisy. Close walk to assortment of shops & restaurants. Great Italian place across the road. Apartment has all the kitchen/laundry things you need.

Lift was out of action during our 8-day stay.

Overall, the property was quite good, but there were several issues that affected our stay. The downstairs bedroom was very small. Once the double bed was in place, the wardrobe door could only be opened halfway, making it inconvenient to use. The check-in process was unclear. We had to wait for some time before someone answered the door. The person who met us did not speak English, and we were not told who they were. Their customer service attitude was not what we would normally expect from accommodation staff. When we asked for a few reasonable items, such as extra blankets because the heater in one room was not working, and two additional dining chairs because there were only four chairs for six guests, we were told there would be an extra charge. However, we were also told these items could be provided free of charge if we left a positive review. We chose not to accept this because we wanted to leave an honest and fair review. Another significant issue was that the building's lift was out of service. We were not informed of this before our arrival. As our group consisted of senior travellers, having to climb two or three flights of stairs every day was very difficult. The property itself was acceptable, but there is considerable room for improvement in the host's management, communication, and customer service.
