The accommodation is lovely and the panoramic view from the house was magnificent, better than what I thought it would be. The owner was communicative and helpful and the bottle of wine on arrival was a very nice touch. The house has pretty much everything you need. Lots of crockery, cutlery, glassware etc. and there's coffee (and a decent coffee machine), condiments, cling and glad wrap, etc. The house is a well set out, with two bedrooms and a bathroom in each wing, with a large central living area which was tastefully appointed. There are lots of flowering shrubs around the house, so there are lots of birds, but none of the plants black the view. The house is accessible and all on the one level which is great for people with accessibility needs. And they take pets as well. For our family this is one of the few places we could find on KI that met all our needs and ticked all the boxes. And then there was the stunning view. Bravo!
One of the few things the place didn't have was milk, and because we arrived a bit later we had to do an hour round trip to Kingscote, to get some for the morning (it was the weekend so the store in American River wasn't open). So, bring your own milk if you don't want to be drinking black coffee in the morning.

We liked everything about our stay.
To start, the host allowed an early check-in because the property was available, and it was a big help for us. Then the check-in process was pretty straightforward and easy.
The veiw from the property was scenic, the property was clean and kitchen was well equipped.
I would definitely recommend this to friends and family.

Great view. Spacious, clean
The heating in the living area didn't work. The owner initially responded but later didn't even apologise for the inconvenience. A service guy came to check it and said it can't be fixed and needs new parts. This should've been checked before giving out to guests. And we weren't offered a discount either. It was quite cold and uncomfortable at night. A bathroom heater lamp and a closet light didn't work either
