The balcony and the silence

Unfortunately, my experience at this property was not a pleasant one. I have not encountered a similar situation on other trips. I initially asked whether early check-in was possible and was informed that it was not, which I understood. Later, the host sent me a message about 15 minutes before the official check-in time, saying that I could come. I arrived at 3:30 PM, which was already 30 minutes after the check-in time, only to find that cleaning was still in progress. I was told there had been a misunderstanding regarding the cleaning schedule and that we needed to wait another 30 minutes. We agreed and left. When we returned at 4:00 PM, we were told the apartment was ready; however, it was not properly cleaned. The coffee machine was dirty, there was dust and dirt under the bed, bottles of water were left in the apartment, dirty dishes were left inside the dishwasher, and cigarette butts were left on the balcony. Additionally, the listing mentions that an iron is provided, but it was not available in the apartment. I contacted the host because we needed it and was told that someone would bring it the next day. However, no one came, and after following up, communication became unresponsive until check-out. I believe these issues reflect poor organization, cleanliness, and communication, which significantly impacted our stay.
