Spacious and Clean

The entire house was exquisite. The rooms, the kitchen, the layout, the views, tranquility while being close to many attractions and dining options, very modern but comfy, the tub and rain showers, comfy blankets and fluffy towels and the host was wonderful. Great communication and provided a lovely helpful guidebook, timely information, and knowledgeable about the area.
That I only had vacation days for a quick weekend trip. I would love to have stayed longer.

This property is in the perfect location. Beautiful view, comfy beds. Spacious bedrooms, nice view. Owner was friendly and tried to be helpful.
It's hard to review this property as the location is perfect and overall it was a nice stay, but our experience was far less than perfect.
I will refer to a review posted previously in Sept 2025 and list which of those same problems were still there. We stayed over New Year's (Dec 2025- Jan 2026).
2. Owner response to problem with toilet not flushing was EXTREMELY slow and ultimately did NOT ADDRESS THE PROBLEM.
~DESPITE the owner's response to this review (from Sept) that this problem had been taken care of, as of the time of our visit in Dec, it had not. We had sewage back up in to the bottom floor bathroom, toilet overflowed. The owner sent a plumber, messaged us to tell us that the problem had been fixed but we shouldn't use the bottom floor toilet anymore. (That means the problem wasn't actually fixed.) After that, only one person was able to take a shower because as soon as they did, the bottom floor toilet backed up again. I sent pics to the owner to let her know we were unable to shower or run the dishwasher as the toilet was about to overflow again. The owner ultimately gave me a 5% discount for our trouble.
5. Master bedroom (upstairs first on left) corner of carpet under bed is turned up and is a trip hazard. NOT FIXED
6. Front door lock cylinder is VERY loose, and it is hard to fully seat key to operate lock. NOT FIXED
8. Refrigerator ice dispenser doesn't work. NOT FIXED- but we just bought a bag of ice.
10 Several of the pocket doors do not operate correctly (won't stay open or won't lock). NOT FIXED
This is a DIY remodeled home. Unfotunately, whomever did the DIY was not very handy. This place would be perfect if the owners would invest in getting a PROFESSIONAL to come fix the problems. If looking for a one night stay, it's perfect. However, a large group staying longer than a few days, will likely have toilet problems.
