Comfortable but needs work
The cabin had pretty much everything we needed for the minimal amount of time we spent there. It was a relaxing atmosphere. It was spread out fairly well but you could definitely hear everyone around you. The canoes are nice. We had no plans to use one. Im not even sure where ours was- but I noticed the others had them.
Just to note- there is the person to reach out to if there are issues. We did not do this because we weren't in the cabin much but it should be noted. - the hot tub had a cloudy film on top. We didnt use it at all because of that. - there are zero lights on the back deck - the front deck by the front door- the lights flicker. As well as the light above the stove in the kitchen. - it may have been us, but the upper deck didnt feel sturdy so we didnt use it. And the downstairs back deck, the boards and railings are very loose. - not sure who cleans this place.. but something needs done about that. We didnt use the freezer because something was spilled inside it, someone's random hairbrush was left in the bathroom, and the toilet had something on it below the toilet seat. I can only assume what that was. The floor in front of the toilet is weak, the toilet seat moves when you sit down, and the area is so small you cant even turn to grab toilet paper. The shower was clean- however if you aren't 5'0 100lbs you're gonna touch every corner and struggle. I feel like with some good maintenance and cleaning- it would be a decent cabin. However, between the hot tub and how dirty things were, we will choose elsewhere for our next visit.
