Lodge 2

Excellent location for sites such as the Falkirk Wheel, The Kelpies, Cairn O Muire winery, Callender, Caithness glass and the Antiques centre on the way to Callender. Also close to Oerth and Dunblane. The Accomodation was excellent well laid out and roomy. It was very comfortable and had all the amenities and equipment to make a stay very good. We could have stayed for a month or more and not felt out of place.

No instructions on oven, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine in the welcome folder. These would have been helpful.

The lodge was comfortable, spacious and well-equipped. Larger than we expected. The surrounding area is beautiful.

The washbasin in the bathroom leaked, so we were unable to wash in it. The bath water was barely warm enough, even though the water in the other taps was very hot. Although we were told the contents of the skip provided for refuse, were all recycled, this cannot possibly have been true, as everything was thrown in together including nappies, which are certainly not recyclable. The site needs to vastly improve recycling facilities. In addition, the said skip was some distance away from the lodge and was not clearly signposted.
