The Garden Rooms & Apartments

The location was excellent. Clean and modern

The fridge was very noisy and kept us awake, we couldn’t seem to unplug it. I minor problem though as everything else was lovely

We had a room at the front which was very spacious, clean and modern with a large balcony and lovely walk in shower. Athanasios met us at the apartment to hand over the keys and he was very friendly. He arranged a taxi for us at short notice as we arrived at the port at the other side of the island. We only stayed 2 nights, but they left us some lovely gifts of nuts. Aegina is famous for its pistachios.

As our room was on the street it was a little noisy, but to be expected in a busy town.

I had such a comfortable stay here and would highly recommend it. I stayed for a full week and everything was perfect. The room was spacious, modern and spotlessly clean, with a lovely balcony where I could sit and watch the sunset over the nearby church. The bathroom and kitchenette were both modern and very well kept, and the shower was excellent and really powerful. Athana and the other host, who I think may have been his mother, were absolutely charming. They were so kind, warm and welcoming throughout my stay and really added to the whole experience. The location is also brilliant. It’s only about five minutes from the port, the beach and the centre of town, so everything is within very easy reach. A really enjoyable stay from start to finish. I would happily stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Aegina.
