Mar de Cristal Apartment - 6410

The property was excellent , comfortable, very clean and had everything we needed. The location was perfect as it was directly opposite the padel court where we were having a training course. It was conveniently located for the Spar and restaurants . Also the beach was near enough to walk to.

The check in time is 1700, which is quite a late check in especially when people are arriving from abroad - We arrived at 1pm after an early flight and were very tired and just wanted to rest - the agency allowed us to go in early but only if we paid 30 euros! At the end of our stay we asked to extend our check out time to 17.00 ( from 11am) and despite being told no one was coming in after us we were asked to pay 42 euros to extend!! I negotiated it down to 20 euros. Sadly this put a black mark against us using this property again, we would definitely have done so otherwise as we loved everything else about it. That said, the staff were extremely responsive and helpful, sadly it’s the company that has made these extra money making decisions.. Incidentally, we were with 30 other people who had no such problems with their accommodation and were given more flexible arrival and check out options without extra charges!We were told that our apartment was cheaper and that’s why they charge extra, however when I compared the cost with my friends staying in the same village, this was not the case!

AsProblems paying for the security deposit,as Link wasn't working,,,key code not sent so left outside trying to get in,, the same as other people,, toilet blockage,,7hours for plumbers to come then went out to eat, eventually came back, asked the company to clean as dirty toilet water on the floor,, they said they were going home,and to ask the plumber,,he just wiped the floor no disinfectant we went and bought some and cleaned up,,,bad experience, unhelpful staff
