We stayed for 6 days in August. The weather was fantastic all week and the lake with a sandy beach was exactly what we were hoping for. We didn’t try out the kayaks as we brought our own paddle boards but they did look like fun. There is a swim raft however the geese had claimed it by pooping all over it. Maybe a couple of swan decoys could solve that problem?The cabin was nice and having enough beds for all of us adults worked out well. The middle bunk bed was a little tough for us ‘older’ folks to get in and out of, but I bet kids would have a blast. The kitchen had everything we needed and it was nice to have an BBQ grill. The living/dining space was plenty spacious. The screened porch was great when the mosquitoes got too vicious. Bring bug spray and you will be fine. Sunsets were beautiful and we had campfires most evenings while stargazing and looking for satellites.The cabin has quirks, some doors and windows were a little hard to open and close. There is the typical hard water (well water?) that most cabins have. There is no air conditioning but we were fine with a couple of fans. All in all, we had a very nice time and will certainly consider returning next year.

What a fabulous little getaway!! So cute and peaceful! Love all the accommodations and the host was so great to work with. Would definitely recommend to stay here. In fact I want to go back.
