Beautiful lodging but Getting to the property is difficult. Be prepared to climb lots of stairs. Pack light. Hotel next door only serves its own guests so you have to walk in the dark for food at night if you have nothing to cook. We were not prepared for this. If you prepare the stay will be nice. The flashlight in the house did not work so we used our phone flashlight. There are little stores at the dock that sells food to cook in small quantities like single eggs. Food at restaurants are great. Bring local currency for the rides to the restaurant and ferries to nearby islands on the lake. There is an ATM to the top of the hill but you need a ride up so bring local currency.

Amazing views from the bedrooms, both have en suites and are quite spacious. The stairs are rough if you are obese or have mobility issues, but if you can handle them the views are spectacular. There’s not a lot of food options super close to the property, but there is a place that is pretty good that will deliver for a fee if you’re too tired to get on a lancha.

Beautiful property and views just steps away from the lake and easy walk to Santa Cruz spots. The host was superb in communication and helping with travel logistics and recommendations nearby. Would highly recommend and hope to come back again sometime!
