A vacation on the cozy Stern houseboat “Bruntje” in Schleswig on the Schlei, a Baltic Sea fjord, offers relaxation and rest, freedom, or adventure—whether you’re traveling with friends, family, or as a couple.
This spacious, moored houseboat offers you all the comforts of a modern, high-quality vacation rental with a spacious sun deck and rooftop terrace. In the cozy, light-filled living room with an open kitchen, you can relax on the couch or gather around the spacious table for a delicious meal or a game night.
The well-equipped kitchen, featuring all essential appliances and a gas stove with a combination oven and microwave, leaves nothing to be desired, allowing you to quickly refocus on the essentials of your vacation. Inside the houseboat, in addition to the living area, you’ll find two cozy bedrooms, as well as a modern bathroom with a shower and a separate toilet. The first bedroom features a 160-cm-wide double bed, while the second has a 140-cm-wide bunk bed with an additional sleeping space on top. You’ll find plenty of storage space in the closets in each room.
From the large upper deck, you’ll enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the Schlei, the harbor, and the Schleswig Cathedral in the distance. Make yourself comfortable in the cozy lounge area, in the two-person hammock, or on the two sun loungers, and let your mind wander while enjoying the view of the water. Or enjoy the maritime atmosphere in exclusive style on the lower, covered 11-square-meter terrace—at the large table or in the hanging chair in the front row—with a sundowner and grilled fish.
Only products of natural origin that are 100% biodegradable are used to clean the Stern houseboats. This also applies to everything you’ll find on board: toilet paper, paper towels, soap, dish soap, shampoo, and shower gel!
Please note that the use of bed linens is mandatory. You can either bring your own or add them to your booking during the reservation process.
