Our stay at Les Buis de La Borie at the start of July was nothing short of magical. This beautiful, secluded, and cozy gîte is expertly restored, combining rustic charm with modern amenities. Nestled in the quiet countryside close to the historic bastide of Montcabrier, the setting is truly idyllic. The village itself is like something out of a fairy tale, with the bells tolling every hour and warm streetlights glowing at night. The location in the Lot Valley is perfect for exploring the famous vineyards and enjoying the serene beauty of the Lot river. Les Buis de La Borie offers a stunning view, spectacular gardens, and a magnificent swimming pool, all of which contributed to a peaceful and rejuvenating experience. The nights were incredibly quiet, ensuring a great night's sleep, and the private setting made it feel like our own little paradise. Our hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and special, providing thoughtful little extras that made our stay even more comfortable and memorable. Their genuine care and attentiveness were evident in every interaction, making our stay even more enjoyable. The swimming pool, gardens, and the breathtaking night sky were the highlights of our trip, creating memories we will cherish forever. Having visited the Lot Valley for many years, I can confidently say it is the best gîte we have ever stayed in.
