    The room is antique, and has an old world charm, it has a nice balcony to have your breakfast on. The staff are helpful. It’s well located.

    When you book here, you will be booking a pretty basic accommodation, so keep that in mind. The price is in line with what you would expect for that money. It's pretty clean, but could use a bit more attention to detail. The mattress is quite old. The shower thankfully had hot water. As is common for hotels in SEA, they never leave enough toilet paper, but I was able to ask for more. They provide hand towels and bath towels, which is more than some hotels provide (some hotels don't give hand towels). The staff is all nice, but some speak very little English and I had to switch to Thai to communicate and my Thai isn't great. One front desk staff member didn't understand that I wanted to print something out, even when using Google Translate into Lao and showing the staff member a pdf of my ticket where it clearly said (in Thai and English) that it needs to be printed on paper. They had a printer right there at the front desk so it shouldn't have been a problem. However another staff member arrived a few minutes later who spoke good English and allowed me to print my two documents. The night staff when I checked in didn't tell me that breakfast was served in front of your room, so I didn't order breakfast the first day. I only realized this when I went to find the breakfast room for the first morning. I told the same daytime staff member that I would just schedule breakfast for the following day only and didn't need any breakfast for today, but when I came back from my day out, I saw a breakfast platter now sitting in front of my room. Also on my first full day there, the cleaning staff didn't clean my room despite a sign on the front door saying to please clean. So I asked the front desk and they had the staff go clean. The air con is a little finicky but did eventually cool down the room well. The location of this hotel is fantastic, though, and I was far enough back that the bar noise across the street didn't bother me. I might stay here again if I am by myself, but if I am traveling w/ someone else I would probably opt for a nicer place.

    Isaac music blasting all night. If you like Laos music fine but they blast the speakers right in front of your house
