#4 Walking distance to Seattle Capitol downtown

Very close to everything you need in the city, walking/biking distance. Was clean and the owner was very nice and helpful. Price range is exceptional better than anything else you will find downtown, amenities are all there, you must request access to the laundry room by the owner if needed, but he is very nice. Easy to find. There is a delicious taco place about a 5 minute walk, Carmelo's tacos we definitely recommend. Bed was decently comfortable I would recommend bringing a pillow you like as the ones provided did not work for me. Windows are able to be opened for ventilation, there is a dehumidifier, heater and air conditioning available to use. Kitchen is easy to use, shower head is new and has good water pressure. Would recommend bringing bottled water as the city water in the tap is not great. Outside of the building looks a little scary but the inside is very cozy.

Not in the best part of town, sirens all night and a few sketchy people on the street so just be aware. First come first serve parking, there is a paid parking lot at the back but that can add up quickly if you're parking there for the entirety of your stay. Can find street parking with some patience but also didn't feel the most comfortable leaving my car there. Building is a bit old, so if that is not for you I would not recommend, there is some peeling mouldings and grout, but overall was cleaned well. Door does not fully shut, it locks but it is still cracked a bit.

Great location for visiting SeattleU. Door code and instructions worked. Good sleep. Shower is hot and strong (just plumbed the opposite way round - turn clockwise for more hotter water). Spacious and quiet unit. I could stay again.

Cleaning is superficial (dirt in bathroom and closet corners, bath needs proper deep clean) and has some weird norms (you may need to redo the top sheet to get it to wrap over the foot of the bed). Having to run loud dehumidifier unit every day requiring daily removal of bucket to dump out water in sink - owner needs to find a quieter more automatic solution to managing dampness in this at/slightly below-ground unit. Little maintenance items unaddressed (pull cord missing from bedside lamp). I wouldn't suggest a family member stay here.

It was not well lit until you were under the motion lights. It was a little scary to be walking behind the unit in the dark.
