Modern retreat with Spectacular St Peter's views

These apartments in Rome fully met my expectations. Two spacious rooms, two separate bathrooms, modern renovation, and an incredibly convenient location — just a few minutes from St. Peter’s Basilica — made my stay truly wonderful. Check-in went smoothly: the host provided detailed instructions in advance. The building door opens via an app, while the apartment door uses a key kept in a coded lockbox. Everything worked perfectly, and there were no issues during check-in or check-out. I especially appreciate the host’s kindness — my train from Rome was in the afternoon, and she graciously allowed me to stay a few extra hours past the usual checkout time. The apartment itself was spotless and cozy, with all necessary appliances, dishes, and utensils provided. Toiletries were available in the bathrooms, and the renovation looked fresh, which is definitely a plus. Staying here was very comfortable. The location deserves a special mention — just a few minutes’ walk from St. Peter’s Basilica. Whenever I visit Rome, I prefer this neighborhood; it’s convenient, peaceful, and charming. There’s a metro station nearby with a direct line to the main train station, as well as plenty of cafés and shops, which the host kindly mentioned in advance. Many thanks to the host for the excellent service! I would love to stay here again if the apartment is available and can confidently recommend it to other travelers.

I usually pay close attention to details, but in this case, I have absolutely nothing to complain about.

The location of the property was unbeatable as it was closed to the St. Peter square and basilica, and the Vatican museums. Public transportation was also very close as it was closed to bus stops and close to the ottaviano metro station. And just below and right outside the property you had plethora of convenience stores and restaurants as well as gelaterias. There is a nice plaza right across from the property. Since this is a very touristic destination, there were always loads of people out and about, but with the noise cancelling windows, noise wouldn’t infiltrate the apartment. The area is safe as well, you always felt safe walking about and even late at night. The property also had an elevator, this is a plus since we were staying on the fourth floor.

There were no plates in the apartment.

Purtroppo sono rimasto bloccato più di un’ora nell’appartamento perché la porta era difettosa e si e’ bloccata. Ho atteso l’intervento del fabbro. Sono tornato un giorno in anticipo perché avevo delle esigenze lavorative. Forse sarebbe stato carino applicare uno sconto per il disagio.
