The Lighthouse Chalet

We had a nice stay and it was comfortable, my son liked using the park outside and playing football.

Had a lot of ants in the living room, some in the bathroom. Had to be careful with food and drinks around. The shower was hard to get it the right temperature as it kept going hot then cold while using it. Some things could have been cleaner- at the bottom shower door, the back of the toilet etc.

Club house 1 minute away close to everything near by

Chalet was very well equipped and had everything we needed.

Sadly the park generally was very run down and extremely noisy all throughout the night. The owner can of course not do anything about this but it's worth mentioning. Also the chalet itself was pretty dirty when we arrived. Marks up the wall next to the loo, shower wasn't clean, kitchen utensils and plates were greasy and the oven had food crumbs / flakes left in it. Someone else's hair was also present in many places. I had to clean through to make it livable. A strong gas smell was present but the owner changed the gas bottle and the smell went pretty quickly. Sadly our stay had already been tainted by that point by the other issues so we came home early. The owner was lovely about it all when we raised the issues with her.
