It is a typical lovely Santiniketan home with a very welcoming host. The location is very good, adjacent to the campus, and within the serene beauty of green. The home is well decorated and well maintained.
It would be perfect if food arrangements were made apart from breakfast. Especially, as it takes a solitary look in the evening, going out for dinner is not always comfortable. Though the Kasahara cafe is next to it.

The hosts, Krishnaji and Mithuji are incredibly warm and hospitable. They went above and beyond to support my late arrival, help plan my time in and around Shantiniketan, and share delicious home-cooked meals. Their kindness, conversations, and local insights made my stay truly memorable.
Wish I had more time for staying a bit longer.

Excellent behaviour of the Proprietor of the Property
Though the accommodation was up to the mark, the room had no attached toilet, even though it was exclusively for my use. The breakfast served was also not praiseworthy.
