It is really difficult to actually write about what I liked as there are so many. However, few things were so good that I will always remember. Firstly, the food. It was by far the best Bengali cooking I have ever tasted. We did not expect that tge food will be this delicious and were caught off guard when we actually tasted it. Secondly, The hospitality. The property was managed by Debnarayan dada and his family. They showed what true Bengali 'আতিথেয়তা' meant. They almost felt like my own relatives who's home we were visting. Thirdly, the serenity. Absolutely amazing. The greenery, the sunlight, the architecture, the slow and calm environment consists the true spirit of Shantiniketan. To sum it up, the total experience was something mesmerising. Totally recommended.

Could live without the mosquitoes, but in such greenery this is quite normal. And it’s actually not that bothersome as well.

The stay was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, caretaker Debnarayan, made us feel incredibly welcome and comfortable. The villa was spotless and well-maintained, and the ground floor was so cozy and inviting. We particularly enjoyed the delicious, home-cooked meals at dinner and breakfast. The location was surrounded by greenery and the peaceful atmosphere made for a relaxing getaway. I highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a genuine and welcoming experience. We will definitely be back.
