Villa Degli Dei

Mi è piaciuto tutto…. Piscina riscaldata, location, casa molto curata… ma soprattutto i proprietari, persone gentili disponibili e molto affabili

Una piacevole scoperta! Angela e Matteo ci hanno accolto come in famiglia, ci hanno messo a nostro agio e ci hanno dato le giuste dritte per muoverci in zona, mangiare e passeggiare. La struttura è in una buona posizione: con 10 minuti di cammino si raggiungono la piazzetta e l’inizio del sentiero degli dei. Gli appartamenti sono dotati di tutti i comfort, agevoli, freschi, spaziosi e tutti con climatizzatori. Lo spazio esterno permette di godersi la natura circostante e la frescura della sera. La piscina, seppur con un contributo extra, è piacevolissima e costantemente riscaldata a 27 °C. Noi eravamo un gruppo misto di 10 persone tra adulti, bambini e ragazzi; la nostra è stata una “piacevole scoperta” e ci torneremo sicuramente.

Tutto nel complesso

De accomodatie ligt in een rustig dorp. Bij de start van de bekende wandeling “sientero de degli dei”. Accomodatie is prima verzorgd, schoon, en gemakkelijk toegankelijk. Slaapkamers en bedden prima. Parkeeplaats voor onze huurauto was beschikbaar, maar bij nader inzien is een huurauto in deze omgeving helemaal niet nodig. Alles kan met de bus, trein of boot. De host liet ons verder alleen, hetgeen prima was. Fijn dat er een wasmachine was, kwam goed uit!

De villa ligt naast een plek waar varkens en ander klein vee wordt gehouden, hetgeen af en toe geluidsoverlast gaf, zeker in combinatie met de vaak blaffende honden. Plus overlast van vliegen, vanwege het vee. Besproken met de host, ze is ermee bekend en is in gesprek met de betreffende buren.

The apartment we lived in was all new, we were the first ones to rent it, it was clean and nice, the kitchen had tools and facilities, and we cooked by ourselves (there is no oven though as written in the facilities). We could park our car in a parking space, and the apartment was in close walking distance to the center of the town. The family who rents the villa is friendly and helpful despite of limited english.

We were very disappointed to find out, after we arrived, that using the pool is charged 10 Euro pr. person pr. day. The price for using the pool is NOT written in the confirmation. After some investigation we found out information of the pool is charged with a fee was hidden in the section “this accommodation offers” here on booking.com, and is hidden after airport transfer and cooking classes. The Villa promotes itself with front pages of the pool and we consider it wrong not to inform a price anywhere in the facilities. That is false marketing.
