I had a wonderful stay at Janae Guest Inn in Trincomalee. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing everything needed for a relaxing stay. The hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed, making us feel right at home. The location is excellent, with easy access to the beautiful beaches and popular attractions around Trincomalee. The peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. I truly appreciated the warm hospitality and excellent service throughout my stay. I would highly recommend Janae Guest Inn to anyone visiting Trincomalee, whether you're traveling with family, friends, or as a couple. I look forward to staying here again on my next visit. Highly recommended!

First of, to keep it real, this is budget accommodation as defined by its price. The GREAT news is that this is 5* budget accommodation! The room is spotless, soundproof, insectless with fan AND a/c. For those of you more safety conscious people, the door doubles locks and deadbolts and windows have bars - Totally not needed but there for peace of mind if required. The accommodation has 3 adjoining units and share a beautifully maintained courtyard. The main road is 20 meters away so VERY quiet at night. The father and son team will collect you in their own Tuktuk and take you anywhere within 5 mins of asking. Finally, the WiFi internet here is THE BEST which is important to people like me. I personally would wish for a desk and table in the room, its certainly big enough but otherwise - faultless!!!

Needs a chair and desk

During our stay in Trincomalee, we were at the hotel Janse guest inn. From the beginning, the manager was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and modern and the bathroom was also new. As a conclusion you can say that it’s not overpriced and definitely worth a stay because it’s also not far from the beach and there are some great restaurants near it.

Excellent value for money. Newly built (it only opened in March). It’s clean, comfortable, quiet and has excellent wifi. There are only three rooms. The owner lives nearby, is friendly and always very quick to answer WhatsApp messages. It’s basic and no frills but for such a cheap price a really good place.
