    If you only want to stay nights and hesd for next transit, it is good for them. A antiques cozy vibe is there for calm stay. The lady is very helpful in all aspects and honest in guiding you. Note: There is no manager in the property and no secuirty gaurd at night. It was a bit fearful for my wife as the area was not in full tourist area rather surrounded by the village. If u have no issue as such, it is very good option to stay a 1/2 nights.

    I stayed at Olive Green Villa for a night on my way to the airport. The villa itself was clean, spacious, and newly built, with good Wi-Fi. When I arrived, I was handed the keys to the entire villa, which I wasn’t expecting, it’s quite large, with rooms upstairs and downstairs. The listing mentioned a 24-hour front desk, but no one actually stays at the property. As a solo traveller, that felt a bit unsettling, especially at night. The host was polite and came from Colombo the next day to collect the keys. Food options are accessible by tuk tuk, and the airport is nearby, so it’s convenient for short stays or transit. Overall, a clean and comfortable place, but better suited for families or groups rather than solo travellers

    Booked the villa upon reading all the positive reviews and we were extremely disappointed. We arrived on Sunday evening and there was no one to recieve us. NO ONE. Upon calling the owner she mentioned since it's Sunday there's no one available. Like really?? The villa is far from the airport and all other famous spots, kind of on the outskirts. Decent restos are about 6-7kms far atleast. We got there in the evening and there's a narrow lane to get to the villa, which was PITCH DARK. Imagine walking with your luggage, or a solo traveller especially female and in our case we also had a toddler with us, with no street light nothing. We had to find our own way and self check in. Right from opening the main gate to the villa to getting to our room. We had to do everything on our own and mind you, the owner gave us about 100 instructions on how to get in. Dealing with this after a long flight is the last thing u wanna do. Bathroom was a common bathroom outside the room but luckily we were the only guests that night. Our checkout was at 11am the next morning and there was no sign of anyone even though it was now Monday. The owner gave us another set of instructions to follow before checkout. It honestly was such a bad experience. It's more of a self checkin style Airbnb. Would not recommend if you're looking for a peaceful stay.
