I am usually very reluctant to book boutique villas or smaller properties, as cleanliness is extremely important to me and I tend to have very high standards when it comes to hygiene. We booked Villa Dutch at the last minute because most other options were fully booked, and I wasn’t expecting much.
What a pleasant surprise.
The first thing that stood out was how impeccably clean the property was. From the rooms and bathrooms to the common areas, everything was spotless and exceptionally well maintained. It is rare to find a smaller property that pays such close attention to cleanliness, and it immediately put me at ease.
The villa itself is peaceful, quiet, and incredibly relaxing. The lady who manages the property is kind, warm, and genuinely attentive, ensuring guests have complete privacy and a comfortable stay. Her dedication to maintaining the property is evident in every detail.
Villa Dutch exceeded all my expectations. I am genuinely glad we found it and would not hesitate to stay here again. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, calm, and welcoming place to stay in Negombo.

Very peaceful, close to the beach. The owner is a very good host. I still miss the place. Booked for a day ended up staying 4 days.

Really nice and spacious rooms with all the amenities needed. A/C and hot water is working well. The location is close to the airport and beach

Unfortunately we did not get to stay at this hotel due to the power out. We informed the owner that we were arriving midnight, we got there and nobody was there, then the owner took us to a different hotel. We just wished they could have told us in advance, other than that they did what they could best.
