    This was a highly personalized and relaxing experience for us. Everything we could have needed or wanted during our stay was provided, which made the remote location very enjoyable. The food was very fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. Thank you very much to all of the staff who treated our whole family with such kindness and care. We are looking forward to returning soon!

    Truly, this is a one of a kind experience and one our family will never forget. We got to stay one night at Hotarutei Villas and our hosts Joyce, Rika, and Ashley thought of every detail to make the experience unforgettable. The villa is beautiful, spacious, and surrounded by nature. The meals were Michelin star caliber and exceptional. We found this gem by wanting to visit the snow monkeys however we would recommend anyone visiting Japan to make a special trip here for this experience.

    Loved the place! And Joyce was truly the most hospitable host. After a tiring hike up to the snow monkey park, her offer of hot milk to the kids and warm tea for us was truly life saving. Appreciate her thoughtfulness and patience with the kiddos too. Truly enjoyed the stay because of her. Recommend to all!

    My family and I had a wonderful stay here. The meals were delicious and very filling. We all enjoyed the hot tub experience in the comfort of our own villa, and we will definitely be back again. Every staff member, including Joyce herself, was warm and welcoming. All of them provided fantastic service throughout our stay.
