3U NAMBA MINAMI - DOYANEN HOTELS

Good location

To be honest - you get exactly what you pay for. The rooms are clean, however the beds are rock solid and made of plywood. Thin walls and windows meaning you can hear everything happening outside your room all night. There is too few showers and toilets for the whole hotel, boys and girls toilets alternate floors with showers only being on the ground floor in the lobby. The men’s toilets were constantly in use meaning you have to que most of the time when you want to use them. The women’s toilets had what I assume to be sick in one of the sinks one night, and with the showers being on the first floor I really would not recommend as a women (I felt quite uneasy and left early) one morning I also had a man come up to me outside the hotel asking for s** luckily I was with my boyfriend but this is a horrible area and would not have gone out by myself especially at night. Additionally, I went to shower at 9:30am and was told by the cleaner I could not use them and they would be shut for the next 2 hours. We came back to our room on the second night and it absolutely STUNK - I’ve seen other reviews about this so must be a recurring problem (I think they must be aware as each room even the toilets had multiple plug in air fresheners which glow bright green at night). The lift was constantly in use too so if you have large bags be ware. Basic necessities come at a charge with a towel replacement being 200¥. We ended up checking out a night early because because of the above reasons - would not recommend.

Staying in 3U is the best decision I've made when I was planning my trip to Japan. Not only it's spacious (I booked 11m2 room), it's near to shinimamiya station and Dobutsuen Station which helps me a lot! Only walk a little and you can find lawson and familymart. 1000% would recommend to my family and friend!

My flight was delayed and I could not arrive the hotel. However, I had sent the message that I could not come one day before my booked day, no response from hotel.
