Elizabeth Street Apartments by Urban Rest

It felt like home. You have everything you need. Shops are close.

The key box was hard to open and you need to open it to get your keys.

The location was perfect!

The building stunk of ammonia and urine. Level one stunk of urine.

The apartment is near Central Station which makes it ideal for getting around in Sydney. The kitchen was well-equipped for self-catering which was great for the length of stay.

My request to check in early was completely ignored. The description mentions balcony and dishwasher, but our apartment did not have either. What I found most annoying was that the windows were really hard to open, some only opened a little bit. Given the apartment had no AC it was getting pretty hot inside. We had 3 Dyson fans, but they did not really make much difference as the apartment was facing the sun pretty much all day (good in winter). We stayed 10 days. A complimentary midstay clean would have been appreciated. I am sure this can he factored into the price rather than charging extra. A glass bowl for microwave cooking would be a recommendation for the kitchen. Thank you.

The apartment itself was great size bedrooms and lounge, location was great too for lightrail and central CBD/Surrey Hills.

The location was great but on a night it was very noisy from the street -Vehicles/ people as there was 2 bars right close so was noisy all night long. Dont mind a bit of noise in a busy area but there was constant noise in the night. No AC had to use the multiple fans they had put in place. Which was fine tho. After day1 in apartment we noticed an awful smell in communal hallway that got worse in matter of days we made them away, they sent someone who w also smell it and we gave them time to resolve it - smelt like something has died but as it was a non urban rest apartment that is seemingly came from they had to figure how to sort it by 4 days later smell came into our bathroom and they kindly moved us to another apartment entirely as we couldnt stay there any longer. UR team were fantastic and did what they could to ensure a comfortable stay for a lengthy period we had with them.
