First of all, you have the wrong dates we arrived on 10 July and departed on 15 July… That’s what’s on this review but that’s incorrect and I have the paperwork obviously I know the dates that I stayed… Everything started out OK

Never was it mentioned that this property is four flights of ancient steps to the fourth level… In the dark. We were two longtime friends celebrating 75 years old, one with a recent knee replacement and would have never booked this property. If we had known there were such steps. The interior of the property of course it’s an old building in Paris, but it felt unsafe… I have never seen so many electrical strips with cords hooking to who knows what as an electrical overload… Not to mention should there have been an emergency how would one enter not one not two but three entrances to get to the unit up the stairs that couldn’t even accommodate a small adult and a small suitcase side-by-side… But it was the evening of 14 July, Bastille Day a holiday in France, where the key which we had successfully opened the door to the unit at least a dozen times prior failed to open the door in this 500 year old property! I will go into detail and I have pictures, but we were left to sit on stone steps for three hours Whilst the owner promised to be there in 45 minutes clearly not wanting to spend the money on a locksmith and telling us to get a hotel! Our money, our passports are clothing. Everything was behind that door, and we had a flight to Milan the next morning… Just as I told him you’re going to need a locksmith he finally found someone and we got in at 1:30 in the morning after having no bathroom facilities and sitting on cold stone steps as there were no chairs or benches in the courtyard. An absolutely miserable day that we were supposed to spend watching the fireworks at the Eiffel Tower, Mr. Richard Pinot the owner verbally said he would refund the last night and that is what I’m seeking. Also, he needs to clean up his advertising to admit that there are steep steps for those who could not do these in the future as for the electricalto me it’s a fire hazard it might not be to a French person!
