WHITE ROOM - Luxury room & spa

The White Room at Porta Soprana is a tribute to art and history, honoring the engraver Maurits Cornelis Escher, who stayed in the village of Sclafani Bagni in the early 20th century and was deeply inspired by it. The choice of pure white that envelops the room evokes the clarity and brilliance of his works, including a valuable engraving he created during his stay, now on display at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Toronto.

The room overlooks the picturesque main street with its staircases in the historic center, offering authentic and impressive views of the village. Every detail has been thoughtfully designed to provide maximum comfort and elegance, creating a perfect blend of history and modernity. Guests will find a refined deluxe welcome set that indulges the senses, as well as a small bar with a practical mini-fridge stocked with cool drinks—ideal for moments of relaxation after a day of exploration.

The White Room is also equipped with a smart TV that includes a Netflix account—perfect for a cozy evening—as well as high-speed Wi-Fi for those who wish to stay connected or work in an intimate and comfortable setting.

The highlight of the room is the charming private balcony with seating, overlooking the picturesque street below. Here, guests can be enchanted by the magical atmosphere of the village, perhaps enjoying an aperitif at sunset while taking in a view that tells stories of times past.

The White Room at Porta Soprana is not just a room—it’s a journey through art, history, and Sicilian hospitality, where every moment becomes a cherished memory.
