About this house rental
Enjoy a country escape with this 3 bedroom, 2 bath (4 beds, sleeps 8) beautifully decorated cozy home. Guests have access to the entire property via keyless entry. High-speed internet, 2 WiFi Smart TVs, 2 desks, fully furnished kitchen with appliances, Keurig and large drip coffee makers, washer, dryer and other amenities will ensure your stay will be extra special. The 2 bathrooms come equipped with towels and a hair dryer for your convenience. In the back field and within view are the honey bees hard at work. You will see other animals too. Let it bee and educational vacation!
Relish the outdoors with 2 covered porches, playground, outside seating area, porch swing, patio set, charcoal grill, sitting around the fire pit while you gaze at the stars roasting marshmallows offering a perfect spot to relax.
- Parking: Covered parking available for 2 vehicles plus a large driveway space
- Pack-N-Play and a toddler dinette seat are available upon request.
- Handicap accessible: step-free access inside and outside. Master bedroom and bath have handicap amenities also.
- Fenced-in area outside is assessable for pets.
- Other animals can be seen next door (goats, pigs, chickens, turkey, ducks, birds, etc.).
- Honey bees and deer: Catch a glimpse of a deer or two in the back field near the bee hives.

- No smoking in the house
- No parties or large gatherings
- Must be at least 25 years old to book and a photo ID may be required upon check-in
- Exterior security is offered with both outside entrances having a security camera
- Dogs must be well-mannered, house-trained, or left outside in fenced-in area of yard. Dogs should not be left unattended inside the home unless crated.
- Guests are responsible for cleaning up after pets and are liable for any damages caused by pets.
- No cats as some guests may have a cat allergy
- Dog restrictions due to insurance purposes: No dog with any bite history, Pitbull, German Shepherd, Belgian Malinois, Rottweiler, Doberman Pinscher, Chow, Akita, Wolf or any mix thereof. No dogs over 50 lbs

My family recommends this place for a stay near Tallassee. We enjoyed every bit of it as much as we could. The cottage was very quaint and peaceful, sitting outside on the swing every morning & night, was the highlight of our visit. It is family friendly, the farm animals next door were fun to visit & it was a quick drive to town. I must say the next best thing was the beds, they’re very comfortable! The host had everything you need at the home, whether it’s a one night stay or an extended period!

The Honey Bee Cottage is very clean and well kept. It is in a rural setting and very quiet. The goats and chickens next door are a treat. While our plans changed from 2 adults and a dog to just me, I felt quite at home and safe. The bed was very comfortable and we will definitely stay here again when traveling with our dog. The house was less than 10 minutes from our daughter's place and it is easy to find. WiFi worked great.

Wonderful, a little piece of heaven on earth! Nestled in a quiet, peaceful area with both a front and back porch. The house is clean and comfortable with everything you need. The parking area is paved with ample parking. The hostess is warm and friendly.
