Cozy tiny cabin with Loft 10 minutes from DuPont State Park

Highly recommended, great weekend getaway.

The property was secluded. It was clean and everything in the house worked as it should. Ac unit worked great. A few things to know are the driveway is steep and just gravel, so some will have trouble going up it. The hot tub wasn't heating properly and the chlorine levels were really high. The biggest thing is if you are over 5'5" it's a pain to get to and from the bed upstairs. Very low ceiling. Upstairs window was also broken in the bottom right corner so bugs did get in.

The house was cute and clean. It's especially nice to have a hot tub in a secluded location, great view of the night sky. Some things to be aware of: the driveway is steep and graveled, they really mean it when they recommend 4 wheel drive or AWD. The steps to the loft are very steep, would not recommend them for anyone with mobility issues. You do have to crawl a couple feet to the bed. Would strongly recommend the owner to put a padded mat in that area to protect knees. We put pillows down and that was very helpful. We had a small issue with the heater but the owners responded quickly and the issue was resolved within an hour which was very appreciated. Otherwise, it's a great property and well worth the price. Would definitely stay there again.

I liked the quietness of the location. I didn't like the steep driveway which my car could only get one time. You need a 4 wheel drive probably. Also, i couldn't sleep in the bed because the cabin had stairs that were 12 inches or more. They were not uniform heights either. Most importantly, you could not stand up in the bedroom as it wasn't a true A frame (I'm 5'2").
