Our vacation home, “An den Sieben Seen,” is nestled in the heart of Mecklenburg’s beautiful, unspoiled lake landscape.

Here, a vacation doesn’t start with a packed schedule, but with peace and quiet.

Open the door in the morning, breathe in the fresh air, and start by sitting out on the patio. No city noise, no hustle and bustle. Instead, nature, birdsong, and a lake that looks different at every hour of the day.

Just a few steps from the house lies Lake Garder. Just grab a towel and go for a swim, head out onto the water in your own rowboat, or hop on one of the two bicycles and explore the surroundings.

That’s exactly what makes this place so special: The natural surroundings of Lake Garder still feel pristine and untouched in many places. Forests, water, small paths, and that special sense of tranquility—where you eventually realize that your mind has truly switched off.

Our vacation home is modern, bright, and furnished with great care. A cozy living area, a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, and the large terrace with a grill ensure that you’ll feel right at home here—not just in the summer.

And even though you’re surrounded by nature here, you don’t have to go without a really good internet connection: Our own fast Starlink Wi-Fi is available to our guests free of charge. It’s ideal for streaming, a cozy Netflix night, or simply staying reliably connected even while on vacation.

This makes “An den Sieben Seen” a wonderful retreat for a little break in nature, even outside the summer season.

Spend a day in Warnemünde, take a stroll along the Alter Strom to the lighthouse, and enjoy the Baltic Sea. Discover Rostock, the Baltic Sea resort of Kühlungsborn, or the historic Hanseatic city of Wismar, which many people know from the TV series “SOKO Wismar.”

Schwerin, with its beautiful castle, is also worth a visit. Dobbertin, with its historic monastery by the lake, is also very close by.

So every morning, you can decide anew: the Baltic Sea, the city, a bike ride, a boat trip, swimming—or simply doing nothing at all.
