Nice property, short walk to beach which was wonderful!! Comfortable live room for watching tv at night! Plus a tv in the bedroom!

My husband and I loved our stay at Casa Mar. The unit was exactly as advertised. The unit was clean, cool, with plenty of space to move around. Definitely impressive unit and cat ask for more with the beautiful beach a couple of hundred feet from the unit. I have been visiting Siesta key for 25 years and have tried out a couple of different places and have been very happy with all of them. Siesta key is definitely a special place in my and my husband’s heart. Our friends had stayed at a place down the road the same week we were at Casa and they came down and joined us on the beach for a couple of days and they absolutely love the spot as well and we’re impressed with the unit.

In general, I was very pleased with the property. The only problem was the door locking process. The actual hard key and lock set up, was not viable The key did not fit very well in the lock (you had to jiggle it back-and-forth so much. I was afraid that sometime I would break the key in half))and just the fact that you had to carry a hard key around instead of something more modern such as a keypad, etc. made it very inconvenient for us. It was made worse by the fact that the doors leading to the central area of the property did not have any locking ability from the outside at all. As a result, we ended up carrying our valuables around most of the time, as opposed to leaving them in the room, and leaving the central area doors unlocked. The situation would preclude me from renting this property again. And it is an easily addressed fix in my opinion.
