Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. This vacation home is an absolute 5-star gem that exceeded all our expectations from the moment we walked in. The kitchen is a dream, stocked with new appliances that made meal prep a breeze. The living room blew us away with its 75- and 65-inch TVs, perfect for an impromptu family gathering to watch Game 7 of the NBA Finals—every angle was covered, even if the Pacers didn’t pull through! The double sliding doors to the patio, with UV-tinted glass and power shades, added privacy and style. The outdoor space was an entertainer’s paradise, with excellent seating and grilling options.
Upstairs, the master bedroom was a standout—spacious, with high-quality furniture, ample storage for a months-long stay, and thoughtful touches like a coffee maker and mini fridge to avoid late-night trips downstairs. The recliner, private balcony, and more power shades made it a true retreat. The owner clearly thought of everything for beach days, providing numerous beach towels, a rolling cooler, six beach chairs, and a cart to haul it all. The laundry facilities were also top-notch, with large, modern appliances.
However, our experience was slightly marred by a cleaning issue. Shortly after arriving, we found long white pet hair on our socks, the living room couches (especially the headrests), and the area rugs in the living room and master bedroom. The provided stick vacuum helped, but its 15-minute battery life required multiple recharges to clean the hair ourselves. We contacted Vacasa, who offered to send a cleaning crew, but we didn’t want to lose vacation time coordinating it. As pet owners, we were disappointed that the home wasn’t thoroughly cleaned before our arrival.
Despite this, the property’s exceptional features made our stay memorable. We hope Vacasa tightens their cleaning protocols to match the home’s incredible quality. We’d love to return if this issue is addressed.
