Jackson Rooftop Loft by the Bars

We recently stayed at this incredible VRBO in Omaha’s Old Market district, and it exceeded every expectation. Tucked into a commercial block, it offered unbeatable access to downtown activities while still feeling like a private retreat. Our group included my husband, two adult sons, my mother‑in‑law and her guest, my brother and sister‑in‑law, and their two young daughters — and everyone had plenty of space.The home’s design was a standout: thoughtful décor, unique art, beautiful furniture, abundant plants, skylights, and so many special architectural touches. We loved the rooftop deck, well‑equipped kitchen, play area, media room, and the convenience of multiple bedrooms, bathrooms, and garage access.The location was perfect — steps from the farmers market and minutes from the CHI Center for Creighton’s graduation. It became the ideal gathering spot for friends and family who stopped by to celebrate, and every visitor asked how to book it for future trips.My nieces especially loved the “secret mansion” feel — you’d never guess from the outside what a gem this place is. Based on the reviews, I expected it to be great, and it still managed to impress us even more. A huge hit for our entire family. Thank you, Kat, for being such a great host.

My family and I had a great time at the Jackson Rooftop Loft for our first visit to Omaha! The space was very modern and had everything we could ask for. We especially enjoyed the large kitchen and the media room. The location of the property was one of the best parts, as it’s central to all the restaurants and cool shops in town. Kat was a great host and was very responsive; she even let us check in earlier and also re-enter after check-out to get something we forgot. Overall it was a lovely stay and we can’t wait to return to Omaha for a longer visit!

This Vrbo exceeded all of our expectations. The home was modern, spotless, and thoughtfully designed with high-end finishes throughout. We especially loved the heated bathroom floors—such a luxurious touch—and the state-of-the-art appliances made everything feel seamless and elevated. The location was ideal: peaceful, yet just minutes from downtown. We couldn't have asked for a better stay and would absolutely return.

I’m afraid that the pictures don’t do justice to how amazing this place is! It’s stunning and a phenomenal place to stay. Great accommodations overall. On top of that, the location could not be more ideal! Everyone was so impressed with the place, and we will absolutely be back!
