About this apartment rental
Relax at this Adirondack tiny house, solar-powered, tranquil getaway. Only 30 minutes to Lake Placid’s Olympic sites, Tupper Lake’s Wild Center, 15 minutes from Saranac Lake’s shops and events like Saranac Lake Winter Carnival ice palace. Easy access to biking, walking, and hiking trails. Near to golfing, tennis, pickleball, shopping, and local dining. Close to numerous lakes and rivers for swimming, fishing, canoeing, or kayaking.
The Carriage House is a 630 sq ft, two-story private apartment attached to the host’s garage. Second floor has half bath, one double/full and twin, closets, dressers and private deck with propane fire pit (seasonal screened porch) with spiral staircase to first floor. First floor has an open floor plan with daybed and additional seating, TV, kitchen, full bath and views of natural swimming pool. The guest house easily sleeps four people (one double bed, one twin upstairs and a daybed in the downstairs living space.
*No cats, no smoking or vaping on property due to co-owners severe allergies.

My partner and I enjoyed our stay at the Adirondack Carriage House. I had wondered if it would feel small for a 4 day stay but the outdoor decks made it feel spacious for the two of us. It feels very private yet the hosts were responsive and close by, if needed. The kitchen seemed to be set up with anything I could have needed. I would have enjoyed spending more time there but the weather was beautiful so we spent most of our time outside exploring the lakes and mountains of this beautiful region.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for the july 4th long weekend to do some hiking in the high peaks of the adirondack mountains. We had an amazing time on the trip and the host was very accomadating to us. She made sure we has everything we needed and went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome. Highly recommend staying here! I can't sing the praises enough! Comfortably fit the 2 of us and can't wait to go back!
