Two semi-detached houses, each accommodating 4 people and awarded 4 stars by the German Tourism Association, with a living area of approximately 60 square meters. The attractively furnished living room and the fully equipped kitchen are located on the first floor. Of the two accessible bathrooms, one is located on the upper level and the other on the lower level. The two bedrooms (one with a double bed, the other with two separate beds) are located on the upper level. The bathroom, kitchen, living room, and hallway feature underfloor heating. All rooms are equipped with mechanical ventilation (ideal for people with allergies) and electric blinds. Additional amenities in the vacation home include a coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, egg cooker, hair dryer, dishes, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board, patio furniture and grill, and internet access.



Family Vacation at the East Frisian Swimming Lake

East Frisia has long been a popular destination for adventure-seeking families. In the idyllic town of Tannenhausen, we offer you the opportunity to stay in our modern vacation rental. Our two-family home is located right on a beautiful swimming lake. The public beach offers numerous recreational activities for your children. Not only is there a large swimming area and a non-swimmer zone, but also a kiosk, a beach bar, a playground, showers, and a spacious lawn. You can also rent bicycles or pedal boats and try out activities at the water sports center, such as wakeboarding and banana boat rides. For sports enthusiasts, there’s a volleyball court.

A special highlight of our vacation rental is the private access to the lake. This allows you and your family to enjoy your vacation in peace and privacy. Since the apartment is located right on the beach, you’ll always have a view of the lake and can take a walk along the water at any time. This location makes our accommodation especially family-friendly, as you can easily keep an eye on your children.

In addition to the lake, Tannenhausen offers many other recreational activities. Nearby, you’ll find a horseback riding center and a gym with squash courts.

Recreational Activities in the Area

For a longer outing, we recommend the town of Aurich, located about 5 km away. There you’ll find a shopping center and a lively pedestrian zone. Aurich also offers a wide range of recreational activities: museums, restaurants, an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, a climbing park for all ages, a skate park, and much more.

The North Sea is only about a 25-minute drive away. Spend an eventful day by the sea and take part in numerous recreational activities. Mudflat hikes, boat trips to the seal colonies, or surfing on the beach offer adventures for young and old alike. Those who prefer a more leisurely pace can enjoy the sun or take a relaxing stroll along the dike. When the weather is nice, a boat trip to the picturesque East Frisian Islands is also well worth it.
