Welcome to Vilmnitz on the island of Rügen!
Our lovingly furnished, non-smoking vacation apartment on Vilmnitzer Wiese (50 square meters, 1 living room, 1 bedroom, kitchenette, shower/toilet, seating area in the garden with barbecue facilities, Wi-Fi, max. 2 guests) are located on the upper floor of a residential building. The couch in the living room can be converted into a sleeping area if guests wish to sleep separately.
The house is situated in a quiet, beautiful, natural setting along the path to the Goor Meadows, near the Bodden. It’s only about 12 km to the kilometer-long, fine-sand beach on the Baltic Sea. The small village of Vilmnitz, where our house is located, is part of the UNESCO Southeast Rügen Biosphere Reserve, featuring magnificent, unspoiled nature. The property also includes a meadow with patio furniture behind the house—surrounded by flowers and lush meadows where cows and horses graze, with a view of the nearby Goor Forest—it’s pure nature.
Storage space is available for bicycles you bring with you.
Fresh towels will be waiting for you upon arrival, and the beds will already be made with linens. You can find further details in the detailed description of the vacation rental.
Parking spaces are available right next to the house. Rental bikes can be delivered directly to the property upon request. The public transit bus stop is approximately 100 meters away.
From late June through mid-September, high-quality concerts take place at the Vilmnitz Church (burial site of the Princes of Putbus, built in 1249) every Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
A visitor’s tax is payable on site in addition to the rental fee.

The non-smoking vacation apartment on the Vilmnitzer Weide is located on the upper floor of a residential building and has a separate entrance. It is approximately 50 square meters in size, accommodates up to 2 adults, and has been lovingly furnished. The couch in the living room can be converted into a sleeping area if guests wish to sleep separately.
The living room features a comfortable couch with a table and a TV. There is also a dining table with seating. From the window, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Goor (woodland area) and the Vilmnitzer pastures.
The kitchenette is fully equipped with a stove, microwave, electric kettle, coffee maker, toaster, mini-oven, dishwasher, and refrigerator. The bedroom features a comfortable double bed with nightstands and reading lamps, as well as a wardrobe.
In the garden, guests of this vacation rental can use outdoor furniture and a grill. Fresh towels will be provided upon your arrival, and the beds will, of course, already be made with linens. The modern bathroom is equipped with a shower, toilet, and sink and has a window.
Attention, musicians! What makes us special: We’re very familiar with practicing and making music, so musicians can practice for two to three hours a day without any disturbances. In addition, there are opportunities to practice in the chapel of the Vilmnitz Church.
Check-in is from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00, and check-out is from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
