About this cottage rental

2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, sleeps 4. Birdies on Market Street is a refurbished, chic apartment full of character and personality, centrally located in Clifden town. The apartment is ideal for those seeking a Connemara getaway.
Clifden is a bustling market town in beautiful Connemara and offers a perfect base when exploring the region, while still being located close to all services, shops, restaurants, cafes, and bars. The apartment is situated within 50m of the town square, which is surrounded by a mix of bars, restaurants, shops, and services. There are many walking routes in the area which offer fabulous scenic views at every turn, including the Connemara Greenway, Derrigimlagh Loop walk, and the various walking trails throughout Connemara National Park. Local activities include fishing, hill walking, hiking, cycling, pony trekking, golf, boat trips, and much more. Festivals of note in Clifden town are Clifden Arts Festival, The Connemara Pony Festival, Clifden Traditional Music Festival, and many more throughout the year.
From its beautiful scenery, amazing beaches, incredible tourist attractions and amazing pub and restaurant scene, Clifden is the perfect place to unwind, let loose and enjoy all that the West of Ireland has to offer!
Facilities:
Access to the building is at street level, upon entering an open hallway with modern décor leading to ascending stairs into the apartment living space.
The accommodation is all on one level and compromises of a kitchen and dining area, lounge area, 2 bedrooms and bathroom. The bright airy hallway leads into the lounge area, which is furnished with a two-seater sofa, comfort seating and large flat screen SMART TV.
The fully equipped kitchen has all modern conveniences including, oven, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine and dryer (utility area located downstairs under the stairs) The dining area is well furnished with large dining table and seating.
The main bathroom provides a large shower, WC & sink. The two bedrooms complete the accommodation. Bedroom 1 has a double size bed and provides ample storage for all your belongings. The second bedroom is a shabby chic style twin with two single beds and again ample storage. The property is electrically heated throughout and benefits from a sustainable solar powered system. Bed linen and towels are provided. Electricity and Wi-Fi is included in the rental price. Smoking is not allowed. Cot and high chair available on request. Sorry, no pets. Short breaks are available all year round.
A free public car parking is located nearby (200m) or paid on-street parking is available from 11am-6pm Monday-Saturday. On street parking free at other times.
A security deposit of €200 is required for this property. Our reservations team will arrange this with guests prior to arrival. Pre-authorisation of a payment card will be required.

Newly renovated and owned by people who care about their guests’ experience! Spacious and filled with all the essentials you’ll need to have your stay easy and comfortable. Easy check in and Leo was reaching out to make sure all was well. The details like books and games, lots of starter groceries and plastic wrap for covering left overs (who else complains like I do when there’s no way to save food?!). These folks thought of all. The number of available electric outlets was fantastic and mirrors in every room. Again, why doesn’t every owner think about this. So in summary, we loved our stay and highly recommend this property. We had a wonderful stay in Clifden. The apartment is fully equipped with everything needed for a hassle-free vacation. We would come back to Clifden just yo say here again - an absolutely amazing place! Excellent communication as well. 100% recommend!
