The Houses of the Piazzetta - Levanzo Apartment

The houses on the small square were carefully renovated in 2024. They include two bright apartments on the second floor (34 steps)—named LEVANZO and MARETTIMO—as well as a large, furnished, and shaded shared terrace right in the heart of the historic center. They can be rented together or separately by visiting the individual pages for each one. Each apartment is 60 square meters; both are located on the same landing, side by side, and are completely independent, each with a full bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. The Levanzo apartment can accommodate 4 people, and the Marettimo apartment can accommodate 2 people. A crib is available upon request. A large shared terrace of 80 square meters with a big shade structure featuring hammocks, sun loungers, a dining table for 6, and deck chairs rounds out the experience. The bar in the square below offers traditional Sicilian breakfasts featuring excellent granita of all kinds and soft brioche, quick lunches, and in the cool of the evening, you can enjoy delicious aperitifs accompanied by a nice selection of music. The beach is within easy walking distance—less than 10 minutes—as is the port for the Egadi Islands. There are two public beaches: Mura di Tramontana and the Dante Alighieri waterfront; both are accessible from the beautiful “Piazza Mercato del Pesce.” Right outside the apartment, you’ll find everything you need: fresh fruits and vegetables, a bakery with bread, pastries, and cookies, and just a short walk away on Corso Italia, the Conad supermarket, which delivers groceries and water to your doorstep. Inside the apartment, you’ll find a directory listing the best bars and restaurants in the city center. We kindly ask our guests NOT TO DRINK the tap water and to be careful not to waste water; Sicily is facing a major DROUGHT problem. However, we have a sufficient water supply for our guests. ospiti.In the house, you’ll find a calendar to help you identify the days for recycling. Simply place the bin outside the front door the night before on the day indicated on the lid. IMPORTANT! Smoking and cooking fried foods or fish inside the house are prohibited to prevent unpleasant odors from lingering. Cooking on the terrace and leaving food or trash there are prohibited to avoid attracting seagulls.
