A perfect gem of a spot tucked away in lush gardens within an easy walk to the beach. We loved the pool and the setting and the people working there couldn’t have been sweeter.

Valena Mare was darling. Our family unit was perfect for the four of us. The breakfast was excellent, the manicured grounds delightful and the pool was so refreshing after a long day at the beach. The walk to beach is about 5 minutes and there are 2 hotels with restaurants:beach clubs. Otherwise, the walk to Plaka area is about 20 minutes. Market and great restaurants there along with beach clubs. You will need a car if you want to explore the island further as 20 or so minutes from town. The staff was so welcoming and worked hard to meet every need. My only negative is that beds a little hard but that could just be my taste. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
