Coastal Comfort by Ocean Breeze

It was clean & comfortable. Liked the tiny balcony. It was a pleasant and a comfy stay.

Even though it was mentioned as the rooms were sound proof, they were not. Our AC remote was broken so we were not able to control the temperature. Having said that, I did not make any effort to get it sorted as it was a 1 night stay!

Location. Convenient. Privacy but able to ask at reception for help. Nice swimming pool available for use on the roof.Transport from the airport available.

Not a major issue but it was indicated that payment was requested in US dollars when in fact we were asked to pay in local currency.

The view from the balcony was amazing - we were on the 9th floor with a view of the ocean! The room was very modern and clean with super comfy beds. Staff was attentive and helpful. Our wifi didn’t work and was fixed immediately. Steps away from the beach and many restaurants and stores but up high enough that there was no noise. Totally recommend this place!

The apartment was very good indeed and the host incredibly accommodating, agreeing to a very late checkout at no extra cost to tie in with a late evening flight. In the end I didn't need that facility because my flight was cancelled but I really appreciated the offer and the excellent communications from the host between my booking and my stay. The free wi-fi was excellent and the bed very comfortable. The room felt spacious and easy to relax in. If I ever need to be in. Negomobo again I will try to book this accommodation.

Nothing with the apartment itself - it was pretty much perfect - although if I am being really fussy chairs on the balcony would have been nice. Only negatives were that I have never really liked Negombo - although it is very convenient for the airport. Also this big block of flat were a tad soulless with a disappointing rooftop pool - but frankly that doesn't matter as I just wanted a good place to stay and if you are going to Negombo I can strongly recommend this apartment.
