We spent New Year's Eve at Cuilcagh Cabins, and it was the perfect peaceful getaway to celebrate in.

We had a lovely stay at Cuilcagh Cabins. The cabin had everything we needed and was very comfortable throughout our visit. The views were beautiful, and the location was ideal quiet and scenic, yet close to plenty of nearby attractions. A great place to relax and explore the area.

Honestly, we liked everything about our stay. The cabin was comfortable and well equipped, and the setting was lovely. We had no complaints at all.

Warm, cosy, peaceful and relaxing break

This was our second stay at Cuilcagh Cabins and it did not disappoint. The Cabin was warm, cosy, beautifully decorated for Christmas and the gorgeous scents gave such a homely feel. The quietness of the relaxing surroundings is amazing for a short break. We love it here and we will definitely be back. Marjorie and David are the perfect hosts, so welcoming and friendly and we will not forget their hospitality and kindness. Could not recommend a stay here more!

Starry night by a fire

Lovely rural location with no light pollution so was a beautiful starry night.Cabin was warm, clean and comfortable. Fire pit with all needed supplies was a wonderful addition and we had marshmallows round a fire. Lots of bits left too in the kitchen - there was tea, coffee, milk, butter, bread and jam. We didn't cook, but there's a microwave and hob. River walk on site was lovely too. And short drive to belcoo/blacklion Really lovely stay.

Amazing! Enjoyed the peace and quiet. Lovely cabins with everything you need.

We stayed for 2 nights and it was the most relaxing trip. The place was very cosy and warm. Everything was clean and tidy. The location is great, peace and quiet with no one around, yet only a 15 minute drive to the town. David was a great host very attentive and made sure we had the best stay and everything that we needed. It was our 1st anniversary and they even took that into account which was lovely. Will defiantly be back!

We loved everything about these Cabins from the interior to the exterior. A lot of thought has gone into making them as comfortable as possible and you definitely could not fault anything. David and Marjorie are the perfect hosts, making you feel so welcome.

Peaceful and relaxing

This was a beautiful place surrounded by nature. David was an absolute gentleman, giving us loads Of information on things to do. He also left us fresh fruit, fresh milk bread eggs tea and coffee. What more could you ask for. The place was beautiful and the presented bed was so comfortable. He left us wood for the firepit and marshmallow for smores. This hidden gem is the perfect getaway for a peaceful getaway with the family for a we break. We will definitely be back

The cabins were secluded and in a wonderful spot just to relax and enjoy nature. However, they are excellently located for the Marble Arch caves and Cuilcagh boardwalk. Really peaceful.

Great cabin, great location and brilliant hosts

We loved everything about this cabin. It was a perfect spot to chill. Great location for Cuilcagh stairway to heaven, Marble Arch caves and Florence Court. Not far from Black Lion and Belcoo for lovely restaurants and takeaways. David and Marjorie were just lovely hosts and even gave the kids little badges to keep. They left us with eggs, milk, fresh fruit, biscuits and marshmallows for the fire pit. We really couldn’t fault this place, beautiful cabin in a lovely little meadow.

David is the perfect host such a warm welcome charlie says hes the nicest man hes ever met Fairy tree in the garden and the 200 year oak tree with the beautiful hand crafted oak pin badge as a keep sake for the kids was a lovely touch Tranquil quite and cosy

Perfect!

This is the perfect spot to relax and unwind. We spent 3 nights here and really enjoyed it. David and his trusty helper, Bailey, were on hand for anything we needed. The cabin itself was beautifully done with a lovely deck and a fire pit. We will definitely be back.

It was simply the best!

We loved it all, from being personally greeted and shown around by David who was very personable and informative, to the beautiful hut which was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The location was idyllic, in lovely countryside with wild flower meadows, pond and river. We really enjoyed having a bbq at the hut making the most of the peaceful surroundings and really appreciated the love and attention to detail put into making our stay the best it could be.

Cabin retreat

The warm welcome from our host David started our stay on a high. Showing us around the cabin and providing some farm fresh items in the fridge and natural touches like the sprigs of local flowers in the cabin provided a homely touch. Although bijou it has all the elements for a comfortable stay. Overlooking the meadow flowers, sheep and nearby stream provided a perfect getaway but close to Belcoo and local attractions (Marble Arch Caves and stunning Cuilcagh Boardwalk). Our host gave great advice about what to do in the area and places to eat and some local history too. The cabin was one of three and very clean and nestled in a private setting. We enjoyed toasting marshmallows on the fire pit and relaxing breakfasts outside on the terrace. A nature friendly, and sustainable choice. Perfect for a long weekend break.

Storage space is limited but we overpack in general!

Exceptional location and facilities . David & Lloyd were so welcoming and facilitated our every need. Our cabin was very well stocked and the children loved the stay. Excellent WiFi and fire pit/bbq was a lovely bonus we didn’t expect . We would definitely recommend this stay for couples or families who want something different. We will certainly be returning - kids won’t let us forget!

My stay here was very peaceful and relaxing.

Staff were very friendly and helpful in regards to what to do in the local area Lovely and cosy cabin, had everything you would need inside. The land that the cabin is on was full of wildflowers and planted trees and a stream at the bottom. Surrounded by nature. Decking outside with seats and a table and sheltered from the rain.

More kitchen pots and pans if staying for longer or if there was more people but perfect for one person. I’m sure if you asked the staff they would have happily accommodated for this as they were very friendly and helpful.

Thoughtfully presented cabins in a great location of the countryside.

We had a fantastic stay at these cabins and wish we could have stayed longer. The hosts have clearly thought about what you need for a cabin stay, everything you might need is provided. The location is fantastic- beautiful countryside with close proximity to the caves and boardwalks. The hosts have set up a trail down to the nearby river. The host was very friendly and welcoming and gave us some great tips about the local sights. A brilliant escape from the city all round.

A lot more room than the average glamping pod/cabin. Really nicely finished, and sparkling clean. Firepit outside your cabin for the evenings, with plenty of wood provided!! Bed was really comfortable, as was the sofa bed, which doubled as the kids bed. The hosts were great, very friendly, asked for tips on how to make it better, demonstrated heating controls, provided milk, eggs, tea, Easter treats, fruit, the list goes on.

A perfect relaxing getaway

We had a lovely relaxing stay at Cuilcagh cabins. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating and couldn’t do enough for you! The cabin was spotless and beautifully decorated, the bed was really comfortable, and there was no noise from outside so we were able to get a great nights sleep. The area surrounding the cabins is incredibly peaceful, and makes you feel at one with nature. We loved using the fire pit in the evenings to toast marshmallows and chill out. It’s the perfect location for anyone wanting to visit the Marble Arch caves or hike the stairway to heaven as it’s just 5 minutes down the road. We had dinner at a lovely restaurant called Tully Mill, also only a short drive from the cabins! The food was amazing, definitely recommend if you are looking for restaurants to go to.

The best staycation we’ve had in N.I

-Friendly hospitable greeting upon check-in, couldn’t do enough for you, very nice hosts. -Really comfortable bed -Fire pit for the evenings with the mallows for toasting was bliss -Manmade walkway around by the river, lovely walk -Comfy sofa to lay up and chill -So peaceful, zero noise/ light pollution at night -Good shower pressure -Loads of sockets, always a plus -Bespoke architraves and carpentry throughout -Sheep and lambs in adjacent field really give you that country feeling - Marble Arch caves and florencourt house so close was fantastic. Great walks and day out at the caves.

We will be back

Beautiful new cabins in the middle of nowhere yet so close to a lot of places and where we wanted to go. We stayed here as it was the perfect place with only 5mins drive to the famous stairway to heaven we eagerly wanted to do. If u like peace and quiet , the sound of birds and even some baby lambs here is the perfect place to stay , with an outdoor fire also to sit by in the evenings and toast some marshmallows . There is also a short walk around a little river on the grounds. Marble caves is also only a few mins drive with a nice walk around it too. With work still on going I wish the very best to this family and look forward to returning with my own family again very soon . David and Marjorie were exceptional and couldn’t do enough for us , everything was perfect.
