3 Mi to Dtwn: Family-Friendly Home in South Haven!

The house was very clean and nice. Bathrooms and kitchen were nicely done. They were very prompt in dealing with any issues we called on. It was really easy and quick to get to South Haven from this house.

The kitchen table, countertop and seating out in the sunroom were so uncomfortable, we could not find a comfortable place to sit. Those bar height chairs are not for everyone. The rickety tall folding chairs in the sunroom were horrible. Even though the bathrooms were nice, there was not 1 hook or towel bar in any of the 3 bathrooms. The bedrooms were nice except for the 1 that had 2 full beds stuffed in there. There was no room to separate the beds and no room to even walk around 1 of them. It seemed like they were trying to just cram more beds in to say this house sleeps more people. The instructions said the wifi code was in the book, it was on a sign on the wall, which we did not notice.

The interior of the house is beautiful 😃. It was modern, yet homey and comfortable. Someone did a great job designing and executing the construction of this house 👍🏻. The layout was perfect for our group, in fact if needed, there was room for many more guests. We had 3 couples in our group. Each couple commented on how comfortable they found their individual mattresses (I don’t believe they were the same mattress - each room had its own unique set-up) Two features are particularly spectacular - the master bathroom was GORGEOUS 🤩 ! It looked like a SPA Bathroom you’d expect to find in a very high end hotel. We also loved the glassed in sun room off the kitchen area ! The house also offers a pool and a hot tub- but we didn’t have the opportunity to use either. I think 🤔 what impressed us the most were the “extra touches” you often don’t get w other properties we’ve rented. There were stacks of towels in each room (bed) and bathrooms. They had a Kuerig coffee maker AND the k-cups for our use. The refrigerator had bags of ice 🧊. Plus there was a lovely “welcome basket”, on the kitchen island filled with various snacks. Each bathroom had a blow dryer included- some “hotel sized” soap shampoo and conditioner. Paper towel was available in the bathrooms and kitchen, plus (this may seem silly to some people) but we appreciated the supply of toilet paper that was GOOD QUALITY and not the flimsy cheap stuff many places would offer (if they even offered more than one roll, at all). We had a local contact person, for any questions that came up as well.

The lower level was cold.

Quiet location in nature

There weren’t many utensils, chopping board, everyday household items you need to host 10+ people. I suggest spending a weekend there before renting out.
