Amazing hotel and delightful staff

Throughout our visit all of the staff were so lovelv. friendlv. and truly accommodating to my family. The atmosphere in the hotel is comforting & peaceful, and the room was very cute with a beautiful view of the courtyard The amenities were great, it was a cold week so the room heating saved us. And there's a coffee machine in the lobby! Also, the heated bathroom mirror was great for getting ready after a shower. It is right next to many restaurants, cafe's and markets, and there are many transport links, so it is super convenient to travel around. We were very happy to have stayed here and will 100% come here again!l:)

Nice place to stay in Cologne

I had a quite nice stay in the newly renovated hotel. The room was small, but well equipped and cosy and very quiet. The price was very ok, the people at the reception very helpful and friendly, coffee and tea in the lobby for free. The hotel is well connected to the center - and a very good place to stay in the Southwest of Cologne.

Nice rooms but disappointing due to party scene.

Nice room, clean, and spacious.

There was a group partying in the main lobby until 1 AM and they were so loud. They seemed to be friends of staff. Felt like a bar scene instead of a hotel. They put us in the room down the stairs that is next to the toilet everyone from the lobby was using. We were not able to sleep because of all this noise. There needs to be quiet hours. People go to a hotel to sleep.

Very happy with our choice.

Excellent value for money. After a business trip in central Köln, we stayed another night and chose Day8 Hotel because it looked newly renovated and was not as overpriced as other options. We were VERY pleasantly surprised. The location is in a lovely calm neighbourhood ideal for leisurely evening strolls, (plenty of food options within walking distance) the staff are all exceptional (we felt very welcomed and cared for) and the rooms/beds/bathroom are clean, comfortable and really nicely designed.

Parking situation can be a bit difficult as one has to circle around a bit in the neighbourhood to find an open spot.

Neues Zuhuss in Kölle!

Der erste Eindruck täuschte mich nicht: Modern, sympathisch, jung, professionell, hilfsbereit und persönlich. Die Lage in Sülz ist super. Das Hotel wurde in 2025 renoviert neu eröffnet. Bett und Dusche waren richtig gut. In Summe angenehm stimmiges Preis-Leistung Verhältnis. Danke für Alles - auch für den Kaffee- jederzeit wieder im Day8.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Frühstück war ebenfalls gut. Das Hotel ist relativ neu und sauber. Unser Zimmer war sehr klein und ein Teil der Duschtrennwand fehlte was man an den Bohrlöchern erkennen konnte. Geht in dem kleinen Bad immer kaputt sagte man uns. Parkplatz muss man suchen. Wenn jemand in der Gegend ein Hotel sucht würde ich es empfehlen weil das Team super war.

Perfekt für Kurzaufenthalt in Köln

Von der Autobahn aus sehr gut zu erreichen, sehr netter Sevice. Zimmer sauber und modern, genau das Richtige für einen Aufenthalt in der Stadt. Das ganze Hotel neu und modern eingerichtet. Wasser, Kaffee und Tee rund um die Uhr kostenfrei verfügbar, was für uns als Nicht-Frühstücker perfekt war. Frühstück optional buchbar, hat lecker ausgesehen.

Mooie ontbijtruimte, lekker aanbod en voldoende uitgebreid. Vriendelijk onthaal. Mooi gedecoreerd hotel. Moderne kamers voorzien van alle comfort. Het zetelbed was ideaal voor onze kindjes van 9 en 12 jaar.

Geen parkeerplaats te vinden dichtbij het hotel. De receptiemedewerker wist dat we eraan kwamen en deed wel nog moeite om mij te bellen dat er plots een plekje voor de deur vrijkwam. Helaas miste ik de oproep maar dit werd erg geapprecieerd. Beetje harde bedden.

O atendimento dos funcionários é muito bom a localização tbm é top, o pequeno almoço não fizemos nnno hotel, pois acho o valor alto, na rua ao lado tem varias opções de pequeno almoço e custou média de 9 euros por pessoa. Vale a pena frisar que o hotel disponibiliza água, café e chá de borla.

Sehr schöne Atmosphäre, superfreundliches Personal, sauber, es gibt Kaffee, Tee und Wasser inklusive. Zum Neumark mit der 18 dauert es reine Fahrtzeit ca. 12 Minuten.

In der Berrenrather Straße gibt es einen Edeka mit Tiefgarage. Da kostet der Tag 15 € und es ist noch fußläufig zum Hotel. Ansonsten braucht man viel Glück, bei der Suche nach einem freien Parkplatz.

Köln ist eine schöne Zeit. Die Unterkunft hat uns im groben und Ganzen sehr gut gefallen.

Die ruhige Umgebung und es war ein kleines nettes Hotel

Unsere Aufenthalt beschränkte sich auf zwei Nächte, wäre es länger gewesen dann wäre uns das Zimmer mit unserer Tochter (15) zu klein gewesen. Direkte Parkplätze wurden vom Hotel nicht angeboten, ringsherum befinden sich mehrere Straßen wo Parkmöglichkeiten vorhanden sind, es bedarf allerdings einer längeren Suche nach einen freien Parkplatz.

Kleine hotelkamer

Op zich prima hotel, goede voorzieningen, mooie badkamer, lekkere bed, alles nieuw ingericht, fijn dat er gratis koffie en thee is.

De service vonden we onprofessioneel. De medewerkster aan de balie was onvriendelijk en toonde geen enkele bereidheid om ons te helpen. We werden bovendien niet begroet, wat een onwelkome indruk gaf.

Wunderschönes kleines Stadthotel liegt zentral im Stadtteil Sülz. Das Zimmer ist sehr schön, zweckmäßig modern für die Größe des Zimmers und hochwertig (Badezimmer Villeroy & Boch) eingerichtet. Es gibt eine kleine Lobby, wo man frühstücken kann und zu jederzeit sich hinsetzen kann um Kaffee, Tee oder Wasser kostenlos zu trinken. Parkplätze stehen rund um die Unterkunft kostenlos zur Verfügung.

Leider war direkt unter unserem Zimmer eine Bar/Kneipe und man hat wirklich jeden Bass und jeden Gesang gehört während man schlafen wollte. Ich denke einfach, dass nur unser Zimmer betroffen war. Daher am Wochenende vllt nicht unbedingt in der untersten Etage verbleiben.

Mit Einschränkung gute Unterkunft

Sehr gute Lage - direkte Anbindung an die Straßenbahn in unterschiedliche Richtungen. Gute Cafés und Bäckereien in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wir hatten ohne Frühstück gebucht. Das freundliches Personal und die gewissenhafte Zimmerreinigung haben uns gefallen.

Unser Zimmer im Untergeschoss lag direkt am Innenhof, der von Rauchern (wir sind NR) genutzt wird, was mitunter Lärm- und Geruchsbelästigung bedeutet hat. Außerdem war bei offenen Gardinen keine Privatsphäre mehr gegeben, da jederzeit jemand vor den Fenstern erscheinen konnte. Außerdem war das Zimmer zum Flur und Nachbarzimmer sehr hellhörig. Zukunft werden wir ein Zimmer im oberen Stockwerk buchen. Dort sollte es dann keine Lärm- bzw. Rauchbelästigung mehr geben.

Ohne Aufpreis durften wir schon morgens um 10 Uhr einchecken. Wlan war super, smart tv ebenfalls, kleines aber absolut feines Hotel.

Etwas wenig Auswahl beim Frühstück.
